Founded by the late Haj Abdul-Jabbar Al-Herwi with a pioneering vision to source quality goods from China and India, the business has grown on a strong family legacy and long-standing customer trust. RAGT is part of the Riyadh Al-Herwi Group, owner of the Besan brand and one of Yemen's established commercial groups, with experience across a range of economic and trading sectors.
By the 1980s, the business entered a wider phase of expansion through distribution in glass, tea, tires, and other sectors. Growth continued under the leadership of Riyadh and Mubarak Al-Herwi, with Mubarak bringing more than 16 years of experience from Canada to strengthen the corporation's international outlook.
